    14 Days Uganda Safari Tour

    This 14 Days Uganda Safari leads you to wildlife parks, tropical forests and cultural spots which will give you a taste of the Uganda culture.

    Day 1 Arrival

    On arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and transfer you to your Hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. It is also on this day that you will be briefed about your whole tour.

    Day 2 Kampala City Tour

    After having breakfast, you will embark on a tour around Kampala Uganda’s capital. The spots to visit include; the Palace of Buganda, the kingdom from which Uganda derives its name, Uganda martrys shrine Namugongo meant for the commemoration of 23 young men who died for Christianity, Uganda museum, Gadaffi mosque and the Kampala city center.

    Day 3 Travel to Murchison Falls National Park

    This morning, you will be met by your safari guide for transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. On the way, you have an option to do rhino tracking at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This is the only place to see rhinos in the wild in Uganda. You track rhinos on foot under the guidance of an expert guide. We then continue to Murchison falls National park with a lunch stop and arrival will be in the afternoon. We then check in the lodge and relax.

    Day 4 Murchison Falls National Park

    After having breakfast, you are to have a morning game drive in search for giraffes, water bucks, elephants, warthogs, hyenas, leopards, oribis and so on. You then feed on your packed lunch as you get ready for the boat trip to the bottom of the Murchison Falls. Expect to see hundreds of hippos bathing, crocodiles, warthogs, antelopes, elephants, buffaloes, lions, hyenas and many more. This park is also home to over 350 bird species. You are advised to wear a hat and insect repellent to avoid bites of insects. You will then hike with your guide to the top of the falls to see how the Victoria Nile plunges over 45 meters over the Remnant rift valley wall thus creating the amazing Murchison Falls. You will also be able to see the rainbow that appears on the top of the falls no matter what time of the day. We then have a game drive which leads us to our lodge to relax.

    Day 5 Travel to Fort Portal

    After having breakfast, we checkout of the park and embark on a long journey to Fort Portal. The journey is through the green plant cover which Uganda is known for not forgetting the numerous photo stops. Arrival in Fort Portal will be in the evening.

    Day 6 Explore the Amabere Caves and crater lakes

    We visit the Toro palace since we are in Toro Kingdom. Their king took over when he was a three-year boy. He is now in his late twenties.  We then visit the Amabere Caves also known as breasts of Nyinamwiru. (Stalagmites and stalactites) You will be given both geographical and cultural explanations of these rocks. We then hike to the nearby crater lakes and Nyakasura water falls.

    Day 7 Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park

    After a mighty breakfast, we travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The whole journey overlooks the mountains of the moon also known as Rwenzori by the locals. We are to have lunch on the Mweya peninsular and then a boat safari on the Kazinga channel in search for crocodiles, hippos, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, water birds and so on. This channel is a water stream that joins two lakes George and Edward and is known as a hippo paradise because it has the highest concentration of hippos in the world. This water cruise is likely to be one of the highlights of your 14days Uganda Safari Holiday. We then drive to our safari lodge to relax.

    Day 8 Full day game drives

    We wake up for early breakfast and embark on a morning game drive around Kasenyi sector to search for the early risers. This sector is known as a matting ground for antelopes and therefore a hunting ground for predator such as lions, leopards and so on.  The game drive lasts for 3 to 4 hrs. and ends at the shores of lake George. We then return to the lodge for a lunch break.  We end our day with an evening game drive around Kabatoro sector which is known for large herds of elephants, buffaloes waterbucks, and so on.

    Day 9 Chimpanzee tracking and Katwe salt lake

    We have early breakfast and drive to the nearby Kalinzu Forest to take part in a lifetime experience (Chimpanzee tracking). We move into the dense forest with our packed lunch and walk for 1 to 4 hours depending on where the chimps will be. Having encountered them, we have an hour to interact with them and then drive back to our lodge.  In the evening, we visit the Katwe Salt Lake and lake Munyanyange. Katwe Salt Lake is responsible for the survival of people around katwe town and salt mining has been taking place since the 16th century. Lake Munyanyange is home to many bird species but famous for large flocks of flamingos which flood the lake in some seasons.

    Day 10 Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable forest

    We eat breakfast and then have a long drive to Bwindi forest passing through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth N.park (Ishasha) which is most famous for the rare tree climbing lions. If lucky you may spot some lions lazing in the fig trees. Arrival to your safari lodge will be in the early evening.

    Day 11 Gorilla Tracking Adventure

    On this day, you wake up very early, move to the park headquarters for paperwork and then get briefed about gorilla trekking before entering the Impenetrable forest. Be ready to walk for one to six hours depending on where you will find the gorillas. Having encountered them, you will be given a full hour to associate with them. The one hour you spend with the gorillas is unforgettable. Expect to see more wildlife since the forest is home to other creatures including the black and white colobus monkeys, L’hoest’s monkey, bushbucks, olive baboons, forest elephants, and many bird species. This day will be one of the highlights of your 14days Uganda Safari Holiday. You will then be transferred back to your lodge to relax.

    Day 12 Travel to Lake Bunyonyi

    After having breakfast, we move to Uganda’s deepest and most beautiful lake. Lake Bunyonyi means “lake of little birds”.  We are to have a boat trip to the legendary islands and also visit a Batwa community.

    Day 13 Lake Bunyonyi

    You continue to relax at the lake. There are a number of optional activities to take part in and these include; swimming, canoeing, birdwatching, nature walks and so on.

    Day 14 Travel to Entebbe
