Close to Kazinga Channel, Irungu Forest Safari Lodge provides budget accommodation in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The property has self-contained cottages, a restaurant and runs boat trips on the Kazinga Channel. The lodge is also a few minutes’ walk from Katunguru center.

Kazinga Channel View Resort

This budget Resort sits on the southern bank of the Kazinga Channel. It is has some of the cheapest prices in the whole park hence ideal for low budget travelers. The property has a restaurant that serves hot meals. The rooms are ensuite. If you are looking for a more private experience, it is worth paying a bit higher for the bandas. Simba Safari Camp

A member of the Uganda Lodges is among the first lodges in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This lodge is on a hill with views of the Kasenyi  plains, Lakes George and Kikorongo.  It has en-suite and no en-suite rooms plus a dormitory for those on a low budget. The restaurant serves International dishes. Simba Safari Camp might be one of the best stays in Queen Elizabeth National Park
