Wakeup early for breakfast and travel to Lake Manyara National park an underground forest in the Great East African rift valley. You are to have an extended game drive in this park leading you to Lake Manyara where you will have your packed lunch at a designated picnic site. Lake Manyara is home to the rare tree climbing lions and they tend to climb fig trees to escape the mid-day sun. Other animals to see include hippos, elephants, zebras, giraffes, baboons, blue monkeys, and so on. The park is a birders paradise. The salty Lake Manyara hosts large flocks of flamingos, pelicans, white stalks, and so on. You also have an option to tree top canopy walk which will give you a bird’s eye view of the park.

Having had breakfast, travel to Serengeti National park. Serenegti is a masai word which means endless plains. This is a huge mass of flat land only interrupted by occasional kopjes. The park is famous for migration of millions of wildebeest and thousands of zebras as they cross the Mara River to Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve. A trip to Serengeti is very rewarding even if it is not the season of the migration. Seronera is the heart of the Serengeti is where most of the game is concentrated. The Big five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard) are present. Other animals to see include; hippopotamus, giraffes, zebras. We are to access the park via the Nabi Hill Gate and have a game drive en-route to our accommodation.

Wake up for early breakfast and go with your packed lunch for a full day exploration of the Seronera area. This is the heart of the Serengeti a lot of game is concentrated in the area. We are also to explore the various kopjes in search for lions, rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, hyraxes and so on.

Early after breakfast, drive to Ngorongor conservation Area so as to have a game drive in the Ngorongoro crater. Here humans live in harmony with animals. The Ngorongoro crater is the world’s largest intact volcano. Its volcanic walls form one of the richest and most fertile grazing grounds in the world. You descend into the crater to have a game drive. Animals to se include, elephants, elands,rhinos, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, hippos and so on

Have breakfast at leisure and then have a tour in the Mto wambu village of the Masai. Get to visit the famous mosquito River, taste the different banana species and enjoy a locally prepared meal. You then drive back to your lodge in the early afternoon to relax.
