Day 1 Arrive
On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be welcomed by your guide who will drive you to your hotel/lodge. On the way, you will notably see the famous “Hakuna Matata” atmosphere. This is indeed Africa, no worries, no rush. Slow down and also your Tanzanian adventure is just beginning. Check in your lodge and relax.

Day 2 Tarangire National Park
Known for large herds of elephants and also baobab trees, Tarangire is indeed a gem. It is home to the African big 5. The Tarangire river runs through the park and also is the only permanent water source here. You will spend a full day on game drive in search for elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalos, elands and so much more.

Day 3 Mto Wambu
It is time to immerse your self into the local culture. We are to spend the day in the legendary Mto Wa mbu village. Around 120 tribes live in this village. There is indeed no better way of getting a taste of the culture than engaging in any of the optional activities in this village.
You can enjoy a village tour which involves trying a banana beer, visiting a traditional home, enjoying a locally prepared lunch, and also learning about the Makonde carving.
You may also do a farm visit to know about what the locals grow and also how they do it.
Visit a Masai boma, learn about their culture and as well as interact with the tribal members. This gives you a glimpse of their day to day life
It is also sometimes possible to visit a Masai market.This notably happens mainly on Thursdays or 22nd of every month.Here you can shop for crafts and also fruits
You can also do a guided bike tour of the village and also hike the Balaa Hill to have a good view of the Rift valley wall. It is also possible to visit the Miwaleni Lake and also water falls, take a swim and also see the the ancient baobab trees.

Day 4 Travel to Serengeti
After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. En-route, you also have an option to visit the Olduvai Gorge .This is also where the skulls of early man were discovered by Dr. Leaky and his wife. In this case, you also enter a museum to learn about evolution of man kind. The Serengeti is famous for its wildebeest migration.The migration makes this park stand out. Every year, millions of wildebeest, thousands of zebras and also gazelles migrate from Serengeti National park to Masai Mara in search for better food. They are followed by big cats and also other predators thus making it the best wildlife spectacle.

Day 5 & 6 Serengeti
Start the morning with the breakfast followed by the game drive in Seronera. The Seronera is the heart of the Serengeti and the wildlife is present no matter which season of the year. Animals to see include; lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants. Additionally, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes and many more animals can also be sighted here. The bird life is also excellent,species present notably include, lilac breasted roller, Jackson’s horn bill, egrets, and so on. You will return to your hotel for a hot lunch or picnic and later embark on an evening game drive giving you chance to see more of wildlife. From there you will return to your hotel for dinner and also relaxation.
Additionally, the next day will be dedicated to unlimited game drives in the North. With about 4000 lions, 1000 leopards, 225 cheetahs, 3500 hyenas, and also hundreds of hunting dogs, the Serengeti is really action packed. Other animals to see include wildebeest, elephants, hippos, giraffes and also buffalos etc.

Day 7 Ngorongoro Crater
Today, we are to do the Ngorongoro crater drive. The world’s largest intact volcano is home to many plant and also animal species. It is home to elephant, lions, buffalos, rhinos, cheetahs, leopards, elands, hyenas.Additionaly, several bird species can also be sighted here. To some, it is indeed the last garden of Eden. This you have to see for your self, thousands of animals, impressive views and also the feeling of being here is indeed different.

Day 8 Fly to Zanzibar
