On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed and received by your safari guide from Mandela Safari Holidays. He will lead you to your Hotel in Arusha or Moshi and quickly brief you about your 10 days Tanzania Safari Holiday.

Have breakfast and then a go for a game drive in Tarangire National park part of Burunge Wildlife Management Area. This park is home to the largest population of elephants in Northern Tanzania. It is named after River Tarangire which the primary water source in the park. Animals to see include; elephants, zebras, elands, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes and so on.

Spend the whole day exploring Lake Manyara National Park. It is mostly famous for its tree climbing lions. Other game to see includes; elephants, waterbucks, warthogs, zebras, impalas, kirk’s dik-dik, klipspringer, giraffes etc. Visit Lake Manyara, a salt lake and a birding sanctuary with flocks of flamingos, whites stalks, pelicans, and so on. You also have an option to do a tree top walk way which gives a bird’s eye view of the park.

Wake up for fine breakfast and visit Mto Wambu a notable cultural village. Learn about the locals in particular the Masai culture and later visit the famous Mosquito River. You also do a bike tour around this village which also give an insight into the sorrounding. You lastly enjoy a locally prepared meal.

Have breakfast and then depart for Lake Natron the breeding area for Lesser Flamingos. The journey is long, rough and very spectacular overlooking mountain Oldoinyo Lengai, an active volcano. Oldoinyo Lengai is a Masai word which means Mountain of God. Check in your lodge and relax.

Have breakfast and then a bird walk around Lake Natron.
It is important to note that Lake Natron is a breeding area for thousands of lesser flamingos. Other birds present are the white stalk, Egyptian geese, plovers, lapwings and so on.
We are to end our day sightseeing at the Engare Sero river and water falls. Expect to get wet here as you view the falls and ifpossible take a swim.

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. En-route, you have an option to visit the Olduvai Gorge where the skulls of early man were discovered by Dr. Leaky and his wife. In this case, you enter a museum to learn about evolution of man kind. The Serengeti is famous for its wildebeest migration. Every year, millions of wildebeest, thousands of zebras and gazelles migrate from Serengeti National park to Masai Mara in search for better food. They are followed by big cats and other predators thus making it the best wildlife spectacle.

Start the morning with breakfast which is later followed by the game drive in Seronera. The Seronera is the heart of the Serengeti and therefore, wildlife is present no matter which season of the year. Animals to see include; lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes to mention a few. The bird life is also excellent. Species present include, lilac breasted roller, Jackson’s horn bill, egrets, and so on.

This day you drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a biosphere reserve. Here humans live in harmony with animals. This is the world’s largest intact volcano. Its volcanic walls form one of the richest and most fertile grazing grounds in the world. You descend into the crater to have a game drive. Animals to see include, elephants, elands, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, hippos and so on. This is one of the best places in the world to see big cats, to be specific, the African Lion, leopard and so on.

Having had breakfast, you start the journey back to Arusha. You will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport to catch your next flight or to a destination of your choice in Arusha or Moshi. This marks the end of your 12 Days Tanzania Luxury Tour.
