As we present you the Uganda safari Packages, it is important to note that some are on many people’s bucket list. This East African nation was named the pearl of Africa by Sir Winston Spencer Churchill in his book; “My African Journey”. The country is most famous for the mountain gorillas. There is more than the gorillas in this landlocked nation as below.
The snow capped Ruwenzori Mountains.
The Rwenzori Mountain stands at a height of 5018m above sea level. It is the country’s highest, Africa’s 3rd highest after Kilimanjaro and Mountain Kenya. It is also the world’s most technical mountain. This block mountain has several mountain ranges, vegetation zones and water bodies. It is the only place where it snows at the equator. We arrange treks form 1 to 2 to 3 or more days.

Among these is the rare shoebill stalk, it is quite common in certain areas in the country. This makes Uganda a birder’s paradise.
Source of the River Nile.
The Nile is world’s longest River. It passes 6 countries before it drops its water in the Mediterranean sea. It took the British over 300 hundred years to find the source of the Nile. This river is also one of the reasons why early explorers came to Africa. British Explorer John Hanning Speke discovered the source of the Nile on 3rd August 1858. This is an important aspect while considering the Uganda safari packages.
