    Day 1Arrival

    On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed and received by your safari guide from Mandela Safari Holidays. He will lead you to your Hotel in Arusha or Moshi and brief you about your 10 days Tanzania Safari Holiday.

    Day 2Tarangire National Park

    Have breakfast and then a game drive in Tarangire National park. This park is home to the largest population of elephants in Northern Tanzania. It is named after river Tarangire, the primary water source in the park. Animals to see include; elephants, zebras, elands, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes and so on.

    Day 3Morning game drive and travel to Lake Manyara National Park

    Wake up for early breakfast and then do a morning game drive to look out for more game. You later depart for Lake Manyara National Park. Your accommodation is on the boundaries of the National park as well as near the famous Mto-Wambu village.

    Day 4Full day Lake Manyara National Park

    Have a full day game drive Lake Manyara National Park. It is mostly famous for its tree climbing lions and other game including large herd of elephants water buck, warthogs, zebras impalas, kirk’s dik-dik, klipspringer, giraffes, and so on. You visit lake Manyara, a salt lake and a birding sanctuary with flocks of flamingos, whites stalks, pelicans, and so on. You also have an option to do a tree top walk way. This gives you a bird’s eye view of Lake Manyara National park.

    Day 5Mto-Wambu Cultural Village

    Wake up for fine breakfast and visit a Masai community in the famous Mto-Wambu village. You learn about the Masai Culture and later visit the famous mosquito river. Have a bike tour around this village which also gives an insight into the the local culture. You also enjoy a locally prepared meal.

    Day 6Travel to Serengeti National Park

    After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. En-route, you have an option to visit the Olduvai Gorge where the skulls of early man were discovered by Dr. Leaky and his wife. The Serengeti is famous for its wildebeest migration. Every year, millions of wildebeest, thousands of zebras and gazelles migrate from Serengeti National park to Masai mara in search for better food. They are followed by big cats and other predators making it the best wildlife spectacle.

    Day 7 & 8Full day Game drive

    Start the morning with the breakfast followed by the game drive in Seronera. The Seronera is the heart of the Serengeti and the wildlife is present no matter which season of the year. Animals to see include; lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes and so on. The bird life is also excellent. Species present include, lilac breasted roller, Jackson’s horn bill, egrets, and so on.

    Day 9Ngorongoro Crater drive

    This day you drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, biosphere reserve. Here humans live in harmony with animals. The Ngorongoro crater is the world’s largest intact volcano. Its volcanic walls form one of the richest and most fertile grazing grounds in the world. You descend into the crater to have a game drive. Animals to se include, elephants, elands, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, hippos and so on.

    Day 10Depart to Arusha

    Having had breakfast, you start the journey back to Arusha. You will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport to catch your next flight or to a destination of your choice in Arusha or Moshi.
