The 5 Days Tanzania Camping Safari leads focuses on parks in the northern circuit. You visit the world’s known Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater famous for high density of big cats and other game. You also have an option to visit either Lake Manyara or Tarangire National park.
Day 1 Travel to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. En-route, you have an option to visit the Olduvai Gorge where Dr.Richard Leakey and his wife Mary Leakey discovered the remains of early man. The Serengeti is famous for its wildebeest migration. Every year, millions of wildebeest, thousands of zebras and gazelles migrate from Serengeti National park to Masai mara in search for better food. They are followed by big cats and other predators making it the best wildlife spectacle.Arrival in the Serengeti will be in the early evening. Check into your lodge to relax.
Day 2 Full day game drive
Having had breakfast, have a game drive in Seronera. This is the heart of the Serengeti and is home to several game even without the migration season. Expect to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, wildebeest, rhinos, hyenas, and so on. The bird life is also excellent. Species present include, lilac breasted roller, Jackson’s horn bill, egrets, and so on.
Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater drive
Early after breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro conservation Area so as to have a game drive in the Ngorongoro crater. Here humans live in harmony with animals. The Ngorongoro crater is the world’s largest intact volcano. Its volcanic walls form one of the richest and most fertile grazing grounds in the world. You descend into the crater to have a game drive. Animals to se include, elephants, elands,rhinos, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, hippos and so on
Day 4 Travel to Either Lake Manyara or Tarangire National Park
Wakeup for early breakfast and the travel to
Either
Lake Manyara National Park. You are to have a full day game drive in this park. It is mostly famous for its tree climbing lions and other game including large herd of elephants water buck, warthogs, zebras impalas, kirk’s dik-dik, klipspringer, giraffes, and so on. You visit lake Manyara, a salt lake and a birding sanctuary with flocks of flamingos, whites stalks, pelicans, and so on.

Tarangire National park. This park is home to the largest population of elephants in Northern Tanzania. It is named after river Tarangire, the primary water source in the park. Animals to see include; elephants, zebras, elands, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes and so on.
Day 5 Visit a masai community and travel back to Arusha
On this day, you get a chance to visit a Masai homestead. The Masai are a one of the unique tribes in Tanzania and their culture has not been much affected by civilisation. You will learn about this culture and later on enjoy a presentation from men and women of the village. Feel free to share the stage with them. You then have lunch and travel back to Arusha or Moshi hence end of service.
