This park is bisected by the River Nile as it continues its journey to the Mediterranean sea. The southern section of the park is made up of woodland savannah and also inhabits a rain forest which provides some of the best chimpanzee trekking experiences. It also gives access and the best views to the thunderous Murchison falls. Whereas Northern bank of the River Nile is made up of short land savannah and provides opportunities for wild game drives.
Day 1 Travel to Murchison Falls National park
Early morning, you will be met by your safari guide and then travel to Murchison Falls National Park. On the way, you have an option to do rhino tracking at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This is the only place to see rhinos in the wild in Uganda. You track rhinos on foot under the guidance of an expert guide. We definitely recommend this adventure for a safari to Murchison falls. Continue to Murchison Falls park with a lunch stop at Kabalega Dinner Resort. Arrival will be in the afternoon. The day will end with an evening game drive towards your safari lodge for relaxing, dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Murchison Falls National Park adventure
After having breakfast, you are to have a morning game drive in search for giraffes, water bucks, elephants, warthogs, leopards, lions, oribis and so on. You then feed on your packed lunch as you get ready for the boat trip to the bottom of the Murchison Falls. Expect to see hundreds of hippos bathing, crocodiles, warthogs, antelopes, elephants, buffaloes, lions, hyenas and many more.
Murchison Falls National park is also home to over 350 bird species. You are advised to wear a hat and insect repellent to avoid bites of insects. You will then hike with a guide to the top of the falls to see how the Victoria Nile plunges over 45 meters over the Remnant rift valley wall thus creating the thunderous Murchison Falls. This day with an evening game drive which leads you back to your lodge.

Day 3 Travel to Kampala
Having had breakfast, we check out of the park. You may decide to do chimpanzee tracking(optional) in the Kaniyo Pabidi forest or drive straight to Kampala. We shall have a lunch stop on the way and arrival will be in the afternoon and this will mark the end of your 3 day Murchison Falls Safari.
