This midrange lodge is one of the best in the area. It is well decorated and has glass sliding doors providing an exclusive feel while lodging there. The lodge’s splendid setting offers spectacular views over the forest canopies.

Lake Kitandara Bwindi Camp is undoubtedly among the oldest accommodation facilities in Bwindi forest. The lodge operation started in 1994 and has been proving upmarket and midrange  accommodation in Bwindi Forest. It is indeed a midrange tented camp that provides luxuries with a touch of the African wilderness.

Rushaga Gorilla Haven Lodge provides midrange accommodation in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It is located just kilometers west of Nyanamo Trading Centre in Kisoro District. Therefore, it can be a base for trekking gorilla families of; Mishaya, Kahungye, Nshongi, Bweza and Busingye.

The lodge can as well be accessed by either road or by air transport from Entebbe/Kampala by road, it’s a drive of about 9 hours to the Lodge. It is just 45 minutes flight from either Entebbe or Kajansi to Kisoro Airstrip, the nearest to the lodge.
